Statement by IUST on the Recent Aggression Against the Islamic Republic of Iran

The illegitimate Zionist regime of Israel has once again exposed its inhumane and aggressive nature by carrying out a cowardly nighttime assault on cities and civilian areas within the sovereign territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran—an act that constitutes a clear violation of international law.
This unlawful and brutal aggression which started on Jun 14,2025 has resulted in the killing of a number of innocent civilians, including women and children, as well as several prominent scientists of our country. Such actions have once more revealed the regime’s disregard for human rights and international norms.
Iran University of Science and Technology extends its sincere condolences to the noble people of Iran and to the esteemed families of the martyrs. The university expresses its strong support for appropriate and resolute measures in response to this unlawful aggression, in the interest of regional peace and justice.
